Adopting and caring for Adenium Grafted Double
Adopting: Adding a distinctive Adenium to a plant collection is a feeling only a plant parent can understand. At eplants, we bring you display-ready plants with high-quality growth, compact shape and well-formed leaves
Locating: These desert-plants do well outdoors where they can receive ample sunlight light. If you are keeping them indoors, choose a bright sunny spot, close to a window
Potting: Well-drained soil mixed with gravel or coarse sand are ideal for these hardy species. To ensure that the caudex (trunk) of the plants start expanding grow the plants in shallow pots with three to four inches of growing medium
Watering: Being desert-plants, Adenium can survive long periods without water. Grown in containers, it is best to water them once a week.
Fertilising: In the growing season, starting late February it is a good idea to fertilise your Adenium once a month with some organic liquid fertiliser, or a slow-release chemical NPK mixture. Do take care to ensure the chemical does not touch the stalk or its leaves
Did you know?
