Neon Pothos is a classy tropical plant, grown for its foliage. It is a slender climber, with thick, leathery leaves. The plant does very well indoors and is tough and easy to grow . It perks up any space where it is placed.

Adopting and caring for a Pothos Neon

Adopting: Money Plants (Pothos) have been a favourite in Indian homes and gardens for over a century. Getting one is the dream of every plant parent. At ePlants, we bring you healthy, display-ready plants having compact shape and well-formed leaves, so that they can bring you joy and good fortune.

Locating: Money Plants will thrive in medium to bright light, even though they are known to tolerate low light conditions as well. Avoid hot, direct afternoon sun and keep the plant away from drafts. If you are locating them indoors, it is best to rotate the plants around once every few weeks, giving them a bright window or a balcony for a few days.

Potting: Money Plants do not need any special type of potting soil. Being? tropical natives, they do well in any well-drained medium, rich with organic material. Use a mix of cocopeat, compost, sand in 20:40:40 ratio

Watering: This Pothos Neon comes with a self-watering pot. The lower compartment of the pot should be filled with water. A divider disc separates the soil from the water. The soil absorbs water through a capillary action via the divider. Do wipe the leaves clean with a moist tissue or cloth once every month. In drier months, mist the leaves once a week to help improve humidity around the plants

Fertilising: Feeding your Money Plants a few times a year is a good way to get them to stay healthy. Give them some organic liquid fertiliser once or twice a year. Dilute it in water as described on the pack and add little to each pot as part of your watering routine. If you are using a chemical fertiliser, do make sure you keep it away from the plant leaves and base.

While there are many myths and stories surrounding a Pothos, in reality they are called money plants because their leaves (round, flat, heart-shaped, dark green, and plump) resemble coins. Pothos Neon is a perennial and may be grown as either a trailer or a climber. Young plants bear three to four inch-long, heart-shaped leaves.
