A member of the Succulent family, Sansevieria evolved in some of the most challenging growing conditions across Africa, parts of India and Subtropical Europe. Sansevieria Laurentii, a naturally occurring species can be identified by its upright, sword-like leaves, with golden yellow edges. Like all Sansevieria, the Laurentii is known for its ability to purify air. This no nonsense plant has been tested in the NASA Clean Air Study and has been recognised for its ability to remove toxins such as formaldehyde, xylene, and toluene.
