RETURNS, EXCHANGE AND REFUND POLICY
By purchasing a product on eplants.in website, you hereby agree to and acknowledge that all orders are carefully packed, packaged and containerized in a manner that optimizes the safe delivery of the plant products to your location by eplants.in.
We take strong precautions to ensure that the products are packed in a manner that they are not susceptible to damage in transit. We have gone the extra mile by putting in time, money and effort to create a packaging system that is aimed to reach a plant in a safe and secure way to our customers. eSafe is a multi-layered ‘box within a box’ packaging system that has been created to ship a plant to a customer in a safe and secure way. The eSafe pack uses high grade recycled boxboard that is printed, punched and folded using a proprietary single flow design process.
However, you may please note that we undertake the delivery of products through third-party delivery service providers and hence, we are not liable for the damage caused to the products during transit as they can only be attributable to the third party delivery service provider. Accordingly, eplants.in IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGE THAT YOUR PLANTS OR CONTAINERS MAY SUSTAIN WHILE IN TRANSIT, PACKAGES LOST IN TRANSIT OR STOLEN FROM THEIR DESTINATION.
However, in case of occurrence of any such circumstance, we will be happy to assist you by providing all details available with us in order to enable you to file a claim with the delivery service provider.
We advise that at the time of taking the delivery of the items you ordered, you must ensure that the product packaging received is undamaged and acknowledge the same to the delivery person. In case the box looks damaged or tampered with, please do not take the delivery of the product and notify the same to the third party delivery company immediately.
Replacement: You acknowledge that you understand the plant type that you are purchasing as posted on each product page at the eplants.in website. We are very careful to label varieties true to name, and we will replace the product or provide a refund for it only if we have sent the incorrect plant. All sales are final and we do not accept any return or exchange requests on the products sold on eplants website. However, if you have received a different plant from the one you had ordered, we may offer a replacement or refund of the product, subject to confirmation of the alleged defect in the product and availability of the product in stock.
In the unlikely event of delivery of a different or damaged product, you may get in touch with us within 24 hours of delivery, upon which we may contact you to ascertain the damage or defect in the product prior to issuing a replacement or a refund. We will ask for a picture of the item received including the packing slip along with any other necessary details, post which we will reship the product or issue a refund subject to our discretion.
You are required to contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will work with you to resolve the issue. Any request after 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted.
All refund and replacement recipients will receive an email confirmation for their records.
Exchange: All sales made on eplants.in website are final. No products sold are eligible for exchange. By purchasing a product on eplants.in you agree that all purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Refunds: Typically, we do not offer refunds on products purchased on our website. However, in certain situations, we will issue a refund to you on the below terms and conditions.
Upon Cancellation of the Order
Please note that you must contact us as soon as possible for any cancellation request. Once the order is placed, you may cancel the order for any reason, within 12 hours of placing the order, subject to the condition that for a product which has already been handed over to the courier company from our end, cancellation of such an order cannot be accepted.
In case of cancellation of the order, we will provide you a credit coupon equivalent to the value of the order originally placed.
Upon non-availability of the Product
In rare circumstances, it may happen that post-acceptance of your order or upon accepting a replacement request from you, it is found out that the product is out of stock. In these cases, we will not be able to undertake delivery of the product to you and we will issue a full refund into the original mode of payment. The refund will be processed to the same account/method from which the payment was made. It may take 2-3 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE, eplants.in DOES NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY, REGARDING ANY PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM eplants.in, AND eplants.in SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE CONSTITUTE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO YOU. eplants.in SHALL NOT, IN ANY EVENT, BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN AN AMOUNT GREATER THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF ANY PLANT.
